Chenin Blanc is used to make some of the world's greatest food wines in France's Loire Valley and does exceptionally well in our climate. We make it into a crisp, clean wine that is immensely easy to enjoy. Mouth watering acidity makes this a perfect hors d'oeuvres wine and a superb companion to seafood. Kiona is an Indian word that means brown hills. The family owned winery helped pioneer the Washington wine industry when it planted some of the area's first vines in 1975.
