Emory vineyard is almost entirely planted in Syrah, and is located very close to our own Syrah planting at the estate Ranch at the End of the Road vineyard. Although we do not own Emory vineyard, are contracted to farm it. Demand for Syrah has outstripped our 13-acre planting at Ranch at the End of the Road. By managing and contracting the Emory vineyard, we are able to better meet demand for Syrah using a vineyard that shares many qualities with our own estate-grown block.
